Well... after a month off of sharing my own MFT stamp sets... I'm back with a lovely tree themed stamp set and some really neat dies! These and other new products will be available next Tuesday evening!
Out on a Limb - A lovely tree based stamp set that features a great base/branch image and two options for foliage to adorn it. You can go with traditional or quirky... whatever fits your mood... or your recipient! There are also several fitting sentiments and decorative elements that will really round out your project!
Out on a Limb Die-namics - You are going to be amazed at the possibilities and versatility of these dies. The tree base and circle images are standard style dies but the leaves are peek-a-boo style! I've created custom stencils with these in addition to the standard die uses. You can also create a template for leaf placement... SO FUN! I hope you will come back daily as I show some neat tricks!
We even have this handy dandy in-use graphic for Out on a Limb and Out on a Limb Die-namics to give you an idea on how to use these images and dies together... they are all interchangeable!
Now... onto a few Out on a Limb cards!
Its apple season here... the trees are starting to burst. Pretty soon I'll be craving caramel and apples! LOL! This is a fun thank you card that is great for almost anyone... but I can really see giving this to one apple loving friend or even a teacher.
The apple has a glossy liquid applied and dried for that extra touch. The sentiment, leaves, apple and tree base are all from Out on a Limb!
The inside has a simple panel with the new Fine Check background stamp. (I used this and the Burlap BG stamp on the front too.)
This next Out on a Limb card looks simple but takes a little explanation... and I plan on doing a little tutorial later during this countdown.
This little forest scene has the main tree image that is stamped... leaves and base. Then I created a custom stencil with the Out on a Limb Die-namics and clear acetate. The leaves are almost exactly the same and you can add a little extra depth by overlaying the custom stencil over the stamped image and sponging a 2nd color! Here you see Sour Apple and Jellybean Green.
The trees in the background are created with just the custom Out on a Limb Die-namics stencil.
The sentiment is as true as any... especially in my life. I've used the new Die-namics Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX to frame my sentiment.
And some more of that custom Out on a Limb Die-namics stencil on the inside! And that wraps up today's post!
We have seven days left in this MFT September Release Countdown. All the new products will be available to purchase starting on September 16th at 10 pm Eastern time (7pm Pacific). During this countdown you can enter to win Wonderful prizes over on the MFT blog... where you will also find links to the other DT members that are sharing peeks using these new products! You will be amazed at what they've done with this tree!!!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks for poppying by, friends!
The fine check background adds so much to the card.

Both of these cards are absolutely fantastic, and going back and forth, I rate them both 10 out of 10. I like the fact that we can choose what season of tree we want which makes this set totally versatile.
