Pink Elephants on Parade!

Every month the MFT Design Team have the opportunity to rewind a little to highlight some of the new products...

 I've created this little ensemble to show a few more additions design ideas for Beautiful Baby.

Being a mom of four daughters makes me want to create girl items naturally... so I went with pink! Ironically, I wasn't into pink at all until my youngest came along. And she is so girly! LOL!

Playing with gold a little again... and the new MFT ink.

The card features the large elephant as the focal point. She's holding a gold embossed star... which coordinates with the stamped background.

The Beautiful Baby sentiment is embossed in gold and I strategically placed the elephant so that the B would work with the curve of her trunk. The trip is from the new Blue Prints 14.

The inside shows the small elephant and star.
This little Square Pillow Box would be a perfect shower gift holder for those who attend. 

These take just a little time to hand stamp the box and heat emboss the sentiment on the elephant but it's those little things that add a finishing touch to a baby shower. 

I think the favorite part of this set is that there are about half or more of the stamp set that doesn't HAVE to be for baby! The elephants look super cute holding a birthday candle!

Elephants, and Dots, and Rattles.... Oh My!

Welcome back friends! The time has come that all of the new April MFT product are available! I've got a few more cards to share too. 

This first Beautiful Baby card is on the elegant side of things.

I have to admit, I'm not much of a gold lover. I prefer silver... but gold is back and strong so I played with it. I love it with Sno Cone cardstock and ink! 

I stamped the background with the new Bokeh Builder in Sno Cone, Gold and Natural.

The Congratulations sentiment is embossed in gold. I used detail embossing powder to get those fine lines nicely.

The elephant's ear was detail trimmed from a piece of scrap paper after stamping it in gold. I'm glad that I designed the ears to have pretty thick white lines.

The dashed lined die cut panel is from the new Blueprints 14! It's a great one.

More dots on the inside. I like that this card is more neutral and a little glam. :)

Next is a Beautiful Baby boy card...

Spearmint and Natural look pretty good together and Natural is a great alternative to gray. I stamped the smaller elephant in Spearmint to create the background. The Beautiful Baby Die-namics make it so easy to add dimension. 

This large elephant is stamped in Natural... and its ear is also in Spearmint.

I've combined the Welcome BABY and BOY sentiment for this card. Also, check out the cute baby pin! SO CUTE!
The small elephant hangs out on the inside. 

Centerpieces Congratulations Shaker Die-namics is sharing the spotlight with Beautiful Baby for this next card...

Instead of creating a shaker card with it I created a card layer. I added the scalloped trim from the new Blueprints 14 for a little more detail.

The sweet letter elephant wears a little bow and holds a pink rattle. Notice how all the Beautiful Baby elements are really rounded?

The inside has another rattle and the Welcome BABY sentiment.

Bright Baby Girl

Welcome back friends! It was a bright sunny day today in the Northwest... so I made a bright Beautiful Baby card to share for this last day of the MFT April Release Countdown!

Little Miss Elephant all in Lemon Drop ink with Razzle Berry ears... so fun! I've used all the new Hybrid inks for this card... to try them out. I like them so far. I'm looking forward to playing some more with them this week! The trim is from the new blueprints.

I used some glitter to brighten the heart up. The add on sentiment GIRL was added to make this card genderspecific.

 

The inside has another sentiment and some heart decore to tie everything together. And that wraps it up! :)

Twinkle, Twinkle...

Welcome back friends! It's was such a beautiful day yesterday.... and since it was spring break we went to the zoo! I must say... one of my favorite parts of going there is watching the wonder on the little one's faces.

Babies and toddlers... they are just darling! This card is a great semi glam card for the more modern recipient. I've used the, soon to be released, Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics for creating the star trail and stars. I love this month's MFT goodies... so inspiring!

Each star has been die cut with Score- pal adhesive sheet so that the glitter would be super solid. I used Doodlebug's wonderful glitter... love their stuff.

The sentiment is from Beautiful Baby and seems to be the popular one in the set amongst the Design Team.

 Simple stars and another Beautiful Baby sentiment decorates the inside. Boy... that Grout Gray and Steel Blue look great together. Very modern.

Thank You Elephants

Welcome back friends! It was so great to hear from you about Beautiful Baby. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’ve got another sweet Beautiful Baby card to share with you today for the MFT April Release Countdown!

This card doesn’t HAVE to be a baby card… Really, there are a few other occasions this would additionally work for. The background on this card uses the new On The Diagonal Background.

I love the versatility of Beautiful Baby… and the Beautiful Baby Die-namics make creating so much easier…. I love adding dimension. I hand trimmed the large elephant ear after stamping it in Sour Apple ink. I put a little curve in it before adhering it with a foam square.

The inside features the small elephant with a few stamped stars to pull in the colors used on the front.

Introducing: Beautiful Baby

Welcome back friends! Spring and new is in the air.... and it's a perfect time for new stamps! Today MFT's Release Countdown begins! This month will just WOW you! Here are my offerings.

Beautiful Baby - This sweet baby themed stamp set features two fun elephants, playful smaller images and lovely sentiments that are so fun to create with. Perfect for baby showers, gift creations, scrapbook pages, cards, tags and packaging. 

Beautiful Baby Die-namics - Perfectly coordinates with Beautiful Baby. These images look amazing die cut in felt, fabric and so much more!

Kicking off the cards is this sweet, feminine Beautiful Baby card.
This card could easily be created for a boy in blue or in neutral colors like yellow if you want to create a few ahead of time or the baby's gender is a surprise. The two stars used to create the background are also from Beautiful Baby and coordinate with the sentiment and the star of the rattle.

This sentiment is so sweet and really versatile. It could be used for So many different occasions.

I stamped the small elephant in Grout Grey and used Pink Lemonade for the rattle. The trim on the card is from the new Blueprints.... love it!

The sentiment on the inside is also in Beautiful Baby... there are also the words GIRL and BOY that are included for even more personalization.

This next card is more masculine...
It shows the large and small elephants together and the large and small hearts too.

This sentiment is so fun and is also great for tags. 

Aren't these elephants cute together?! I glittered the hearts as well as the tape strip.

The inside is decorated with the hearts in the three colors that were used on the front.
