It's Papertrey Ink group post time again!!! I love these so much... not because of what I come up with but because I too love seeing what my fellow teammates create... they are SO amazing!
I'm lucky enough to have Sweet Spring as the sets we are showcasing today! Heather's new Scrambled Eggs is getting equal love too! (It's SO adorable!)
Here are my projects for today. These two sets have me craving spring, blooming flowers, warm sun.... *sigh*. By the way... don't forget to get the scoop on Nicholes's blog about today's Papertrey Ink anniversary contest!
The flowers on the heart tin need a little explaining. I used some of the new frilly flowers dies then stamped them with the oval images from Sweet Spring (the plaid and houndstooth) and Christmas labels (Polka Dot). The centers end up looking rather messy, but buttons fix that.
I used Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist, and Simply Chartreuse. I love this color combination!
Here is a front photo of the tin. I haven't put any treats in it yet, but it's waiting for some yummy cookies!
Here is a close up of the label with the houndstooth oval.
It will be so fun to gift this!
Next is a littleScrambled Eggs Card... isn't this chick adorable!
I had some fun paper piecing with her too.
I really like using the ovals from Sweet Spring as a grass image. The sentiment is also from Sweet Spring.
I really like how these sets work well together too.
I had fun creating the little basket and combining the sentiments from both Sweet Spring and Scrambled Eggs!
Well, I hope that you've enjoyed learning more about these two fun sets! Sweet Spring and Scrambled Eggs are two really great sets! Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.
