Welcome back friends! Well... the time has come... all of the new MFT Products are available! But... we all have several more projects to share tonight! I've got three... and a tutorial. So make sure to keep scrolling down!
Diamonds & Dots Borders is also used on the inside!
This next card is one that I have a little tutorial for.
The tree base is stamped and then I used sponging... let me show you how to layer the colors.
2. Next choose the colors and align the custom stencil. Tape it down lightly with clear tape.
3. Sponge the lightest color.
Tip: Be careful not to sponge over the edge if you want to use the cardstock as is and not die-cut it.
This took a little time in the sense that I had to do take time between steps to allow things to dry. This little for was colored with Copic Markers then after making sure it was all dry I added glaze to it and allowed that to set.
I then die cut two more foxes using coasters for thicker stability. I adhered the cardstock fox to the first coaster fox and gave that time to dry. I then adhered the strip of felt to the bottom coaster fox and trimmed the excess. After that dried I adhered the top layer to the bottom layer. After that I adhered the felt elements to finish off the bookmark. Lastly I adhered the felt rolled nose and tiny eyes! Ella came home from school today and spied it before I could surprise her with it. Did you hear her squeal when she did? LOL!
Well... That wraps things up for tonight!
