Fall is in full swing here in the Pacific Northwest and tonight we are kicking off the November MFT Release Countdown.
Vintage Frames($17.99) - This vintage style frame based stamp set brings back the nostalga of vintage ads and retro posters. You will love the feeling that you can create because of the unique patterns in the frames and the thoughtful sentiments.
Die-namics Vintage Frame($6.99) - This coordinating frame die makes it even easier to create with the Vintage Frames stamp set. It's also lovely used with other Die-namics and stamp sets.
On to the cards!
This first card is a friendship card using the fine detail frame in Vintage Frames.
You will notice the new Woodgrain background is used for the top background paper. Darling Dots is used for the bottom section. I wanted this card to be really crisp feeling but still have that nostalgic feel. So I resisted the urge to ink or sponge any edges.
The detailed frame complements all of the sentiments in the set with its unique curves and detail. This frame was really fun to design and illustrate. The sentiment also rings back to sweeter times with the phrasing and typography.
The inside of this card carries over detail from the front.
This next card goes to the more retro side of vintage.
The lines are a bit abstract and clean and the color combination speaks of that same feeling. The frame is styled in a 1920's art deco design.
The inside mirrors the front.
This month's release happens at10 p.m. EST on November 12th. All new MFT products will be available in the MFT Store at that time. Make sure to head over to the MFT BLOG to see their introduction of Vintage Frames, Die-namics Vintage Frame and a few other new products!
Head on back tomorrow for another sneak peek... I've got a fun card to share using several new products. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. I'll answer them in the comments section of this post. It may take me a little bit to respond because I'm headed on a 3 day field trip with my youngest to "Mountain School". Yes... we will be in the North Cascades in the cold weather. Please send warm thoughts... and pray that the rain goes someplace that really needs it more than we do. Just sayin'! ;)
Thanks for poppying by friends!
