Hello my friends... today's post is a non-crafty post. :)
I found myself a little overwhelmed with negative thoughts this week with what our friends in Boston have gone through and are still dealing with. I've totally felt down. I watched the news WAY too much. I started craving positive. I came across this video and watched it...
So... I'm diving in... I'm going to start NOW. As I watched the news on thing that I saw was human compassion, love, selflessness. In the midst of horror there have been examples of the best of us. I'm going to start dwelling on the positive. Not that I'm going to go into LaLa land... but I know that when I'm positive I function better. I'm happier. My heart aches for the many who have suffered this week... this is true. As I type this I watch the news and see a fertilizer plant in west Texas blowing up and it's horrible. They show a video that a father in son filmed... I started to cry hearing the young boy with such fear in his voice. Where is the positive? Well, my second thought after I cried was how great it was that the father was there with his son to comfort him. I'm not sure if I'm expressing myself correctly... these events are beyond horrible. I can't be there to help do anything... but I can be the best, positive ME for my family and myself so that I can be ready to help and comfort if something like this happens close to home. So... I've ordered a clicker! At first I thought that it was a little silly... but this video REALLY changed my stubborn mind. Watch it... you will see what I mean!
I'm posting this just in case you want to try it out... I'll try to let you know how it goes for me! Think Positive! Just click on the photo to learn more about the Billion Clicks movement! Let me know if you join and how you like it. My clicker should be here soon... YES!
Oh... and if anyone wants an update on Alex's mission...
She is doing her positive thing... many actually. She is finding joy in serving others in Chile! She is currently in San Felipe and has fallen in love with the people and the country! We are SO happy that she is happy. We love her SO much!
See... if I had my clicker I'd be clicking away... then looking at the numbers to remind me of all the positive things! Whoohoo!
Thanks for poppying by, friends!
