Happy Spring, friends! I hope that you are all doing well and enjoying some nice spring weather! It's spring break here and we are having a bit of a stay-cation... it's been fun to just be home and go to local and semi-local places. We were total tourists and even have done the Space Needle!
Well...It's MFT's Teaser Time again...I've got more fun stamps and dies sneak peeks to share with you today.
Sweet Roses ($17.95) - A very graphic and clean rose themed stamp set that features two shapes and four sized roses. Included are both solid and line images. Perfect for any stamper... solid stamper or coloring lover! The font combination is clean with a touch of elegance. This set is packed full of possibilities!
Now... onto the cards!
This first card is my favorite one of the group that I've created so far using the open roses and leaves from Sweet Roses.
You can see the line and solid roses and leaves are stamped together on their coordinating dies from Roses and Leaves Die-namics. I simply used the same color of ink on top of itself... then I get a perfect match!
Next I used a small wet paint brush to "bleed" the ink. Make sure that you don't let the water puddle when you try this as it will bleed your ink too much. I used a new Zva Creative Crystal for the centers.
I stamped the layer with the roses and leave, layered with the small images stamped in a darker ink then the larger in lighter ink. I then trimmed with my cutter up to the flower... and hand trimmed it from there! A simple yet affective way to get some shape in a card.
I used Mod Borders, also an upcoming release, to stamp the front and on the inside of the card.
Well, that wraps up the project peeks for today.
The new release products will be available at My Favorite Things on April 9th at 10 PM EST. Click on this link (My Favorite Things) to go to the blog and see all of the new products as they are introduced this week... and learn about the BIG prizes that are being given away!
I hope that you've enjoyed these peeks. I have enjoyed creating using Sweet Roses and Roses and Leaves Die-namics for you! I'd love to hear your thoughts about these new products!
Thanks for poppying by, friends!
