Today I have a more artistic card to share... a little faux watercoloring with my new Pretty Poppie stamp set.
Let me just say that this is not meant to be perfect looking... but more have an artistic feel... so there is A LOT of room for error. I stamped the flowers, leaves and stems from Pretty Poppies first then went over them with an aqua pen. Then I lightly saturated the bottom of the cardstock and let it soak in for a moment... then stamped the poppy poem strip.
I thought that this sentiment worked well with the feel of the card. I love the contrast of the crisp sentiment with the artistic style of the poppies.
The inside hasn't been watercolored because it can warp the cardstock a little and I wanted that base to stay nice and strong. This sentiment is also from Pretty Poppies.
That wraps my card up...
I must say... THANK YOU again for all your positive feedback for Pretty Poppies and Poppies and Leaves! I'm so excited to see what you make with them too! See you tomorrow!
Thanks for poppying by, friends!
