A poppy pin for Alex!

I have a quick and cute little pin and tag to share today using my newest stamp set...Pretty Poppies and the New Poppy Builder Die-namics!

As you may know... I love Poppies! And because I love Poppies my daughters do too. I made this pin for my daughter who is away, because I miss her.  Why is she away? Well, she's chosen to serve a full time for our church. She is currently in the Missionary Training Center (MTC) learning the Spanish language and preparing to head to the Chile Santiago North Mission! 

Her tag says Hermana Johnson... Hermana is Sister in Spanish.

So, I've been creating and sending up a storm to her... AND she is under the weather too... which is hard for me. Her spirits are high though!

Here is a close up of the tag I created using Pretty Poppies. I wrote on it before I sent it in her package.

I masked the poppy then stamped the leaves and then masked both before stamping the script. I then die cut the tag.

Here is a close up of the pin. 

I used all the petal sizes to create the poppy for her pin. The MFT felt is fun for making these.

Here is the backside of the pin. Alex will wear a dress or a skirt everyday so I wanted the pin to look finished. She will be able to wear this on her blouse, hat and even add this to close a dressy scarf.
I made the tag's ribbon loop longer than normal to attach the pin. Alex likes to keep everything so I wanted to make it so her tag could also be a book mark or something.
