Welcome back! It’s been fun these past few days… hearing your thoughts on the new products and some of the projects I’ve created. I have a few more projects to share with you today using Embellished Eggs, Spring Backgrounds and Easter Elements!
This first card is one of my favorites from this release. I like the how the spring feeling comes through with the flowering branch, the robin and the colors used.
So many things can tie a card's design together. The flower is from Embellished Eggs as is the little dot for the center.
I used the larger bird and chevron wing image from Embellished Eggs. I used that wonderful double inking trick to add color to the breast of the bird to make it more Robin like. I stamped the coral color on the entire stamp first then selectively inked the rest of the bird.
The base of this frame was stamped in Sno Cone ink using the wonky chevron image from Spring Backgrounds. I really adore how this image turned out and I actually don't think it will ever be put away. It honestly goes with everything!
The chevron makes another appearance on the inside of the card for a simple finish.
This Back and Cream card has a bit of an elegant feel. I have this wonderful houndstooth wool coat that I love to wear in the winter... and this card was inspired by that.
Notice how the flower centers are also houndstooth?! I really love having coordinating dies... Easter Elements Die-namics is great for not just Easter but all year round. These flowers and the bird from the first card really shows that off.
The sentiment is from On The Line.
Another simple inside makes it easy to save for use at a later date. That houndstooth is able to stand alone and still looks like a detailed effort.
Last for today's post is a little treat box.I stamped this little die-cut Die-namics Cone Treat Box. Yep... looks like a carrot. But you can tell I am not filling it with ANYTHING like carrots! LOL! I stamped the entire box with my houndstooth pattern from Spring Backgrounds.
The top has some baker's twine and a die cut from Winter Rose Die-namics.
