Yep... probably a no brainer, they are the butterfly wings. This was another one of those cards that I thought of a soon as I read that sentiment. I love it when that happens! The stitch image from Hearts & Stitches and acts as a great butterfly trail!
I used the plaid heart from Homespun Hearts to create the butterfly. The sentiment, from You Make My Day, is stamped with the new Black Licorice ink! Click on the photo below to see the detail on the button top. Heehee.... maybe it's wrong... but I think it's a pretty adorable butterfly!
The die cut/stamped hearts are adhered to a foam tape strip that has cardstock over it. The buttons are then adhered to that.
This bitty butterfly was created from the matching little heart, stamped on cardstock then adhered to the foam strip.I LOVE this Hemp Chord! It's so great for this because you can strip/mold it and it stays. I just used my fingernail to form the antennae. You can also spy the stamped hearts from Hearts & Stitches.... stamped in the new Sno Cone ink!
The inside shows the same elements... with just one heart to bring the point home.
That wraps up my card....here are the new products I used.
