It’s it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally at My Favorite Things!

Today I want to share a little about how to use the new Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics! These were designed for maximum versatility... and using them to cut card bases top the list of what they can do!

Here is the horizontal oriented (Longer) bracket. I aligned it with the sides and bottom of the entire cardstock base. I used scotch tape to lightly secure the outside edge to the card base. While this isn't vital, I tend to do this a lot with my dies just to make sure that when I put the top plate on things don't shift. I have a vagabond and didn't need a shim to cut through both sheets of the card base.

Here is a close up of the side edge. The sides are all designed to come up the base of the card to help you align it all. I am really happy with how the design turned out!

Here is a peek at the vertical oriented (shorter) bracket.

A little tip... if you find that the tape ends up on the part of the card base you don't want it to... use a heat too, blow dryer or even just Huff on the tape to loosen it.

Here is a card using the vertical orientation bracket.

It adds so much to a card base to have that lovely curve.

I also used the HB2U sentiment from Gift Card Greetings II to create the focal area.

Each circle was masked, stamped then die cut. I just love all the color. Darling Dots was used for the bottom.

The inside has more dots and the new Mini Double Dot Border is used too.

Next, a card with the horizontal orientation card base.

I LOVE the way this Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics curve flows on this card. The mini dots from Darling Dots are used on this card too.

The sentiment is from On The Line. I love how it can just be on its own and be lovely.

Just a reminder: The front and inside were cut at the same time with the Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics for perfect alignment. Cool huh!
