It's an exciting week... Election day, MFT Teaser Time starts tomorrow, and a fun new magazine issue is hitting news stands! Here is one of the five cards that I have featured in this fun issue. I spent some time in New York and it came to mind while creating this card. (right now I'm hoping my friends in NY are safe and keeping warm!)
Paper Crafting Tips & Tricks is a special issue from Paper Crafts Magazine and is filled with really amazing projects and tips. I picked up several tips that I'm looking forward to implementing in my future projects. For this project I used MFT's Typewriter Alphabet, By The Numbers, and Airplane Greetings stamp sets. I also used some of the amazing Die-namics that MFT offers.
On a personal note... it's major Birthday time in the Johnson house. Three Birthdays that are each two weeks apart... so basically three in four weeks. Mix in Halloween then Thanksgiving and I'm beat! LOL! It's wonderful to see my daughters grow, not just in age but in who they are. So, by the 18th we will have 10, 14, 18 and 19 year old daughters... holy cow! We are very proud of who they are and the strength that they show in their lives. Alex continues her adventure at BYU as she prepares to test into the Communication program... she is an Art minor too. Hannah is in her Senior year of High School trying to finish up her college applications. Pepper is really coming into her own as she continues in all her advanced classes (Oh... would I love to have her brain!) and makes new friends, and Ella continues with Ballet and she is working hard and overcoming many educational obstacles. Chris and I are hanging in there.... he is very supportive as I continue with treatment for my back. He is such a blessing! I hope that YOU all are doing well and are finding joy during this season of gratitude!
