I love combining stamp sets and products… for today’s MFT Teaser Time post I'm combing a few unlikely sets!
I decided to start with the Calendar framework image from Calendar Basics and build the gift bag from there.
I love creating these early so that I have several ready to use when Christmas season in in full swing. You can see the many elements that I've stamped with Darling Dots. I love stamps like this because I can create my own patterned paper in any color I want!
Here is a close up of the focal point of the bag.
I sometimes forget that just because a stamp image is shaped a certain way, doesn't mean you always have to use it in that way. I just used a portion of the image above... using a circle to tighten where I wanted my eye to go.
December 25th is used to hint at Christmas... fun huh! I just show how versatile stamps can be. I trimmed out the "treats" from a sentiment in Stitched Stockings.I also used the little handy stitch image to add a faux stitched border to the stocking and a Zva Creative Red Crystal Flourish and Single Crystals for some extra shine and fun!
These NEW INKS were also used in creating today's project...
Here are the new stamps and dies I used in today's post.
