The time is finally here that you can pop over to My Favorite Things and snag what's on your wish list. I've got one last big post using Western Backgrounds & Howdy!
I've got THREE daughters that have birthdays over the next month... so I've got a little head start on my presents. :) Here is a little ensemble I've created for one of my cowgirls. (Hannah turns 18 tomorrow too!)
I enjoy crisp looking cards... so I went for that. I LOVE the new Die-namics this month... so many great ones!
I stamped the new alphabet with the denim pattern from Western Backgrounds. The Howdy Frames dies were also stamped with that in a lighter pink.
I trimmed the horse's head and popped it up over the sign... like as if the horse is peeking out of her stall and over the name plate.
Here is the inside. I used the bottom portion of the birthday sentiment on the front... and the top on the inside.
This flower flourish image almost didn't make it into the set.... I'm SO glad I kept it. I love what it adds to Howdy!
Here is something fun and special...
A little about the cover... I used a Copic marker for the circle line on the horse image. I then covered it with glitter.
I used a little snip of Velcro to close it... it's a simple tri-fold.
And a fun hair clip hides inside.
A big smile is what I suspect will be on her face when she opens it! These clips are so easy... the die is so perfectly designed for something like these... a little hot glue seals the deal!
And for holding necklaces... some clothes pins.
These smaller bows are so darling. I just love them! Again... a hot glue gun is essential for these.
Here is the entire ensemble.
And... some more bows. Remember... I have FOUR daughters!
These were So fun to create! I created two combs and a big clip. I couldn't have them modeled though... since it's a surprise. :) I got both the clips and combs at Michaels. The top layer isn't adhered down... a strip of foam tape is used at the tope to keep it together. It's easy to just pop it up and remove the selected comb or clip.
I love how I can use my Western themed products without the project looking western. I love that type of versatility. Doesn't Western Backgrounds wood look fun here!
Here are the products I've designed and are available for this month's release.
It's time now... I'll be watching comments so let me know if you have any questions! :)
I wanted to thank you all for your comments and excitement over this past week as I've shared Western Backgrounds & Howdy. It's always so lovely to hear from you and hear your thoughts! THANK YOU!
Thanks for poppying by, Friends!
