I had a happy mail day so I thought I would make up a cute card for a girlfriend! It was also fun to see my last card over on the MFT blog. There are some really cute projects over there. Oh... and I noticed that they are having a little sale too! Who doesn't LOVE a sale! Here is the link... it's a great deal too... 20% off for the next few days, no code needed. I am SO there! I've got a few other stamps and such coming my way from a few other companies too... I'll share something fun with those when they get here and I get a chance to play! I also got a Silhouette... and plan on diving into that. Iv'e got a studio clean up that I'm STILL in the thick of. I need to clear, um... create a place for it. *giggle*
Ok... on to today's card!
I got the fun MFT Hexagon dies and thought I would try my hand at using it. Looooove it! I like that I can create a fun border with it too. It's really interesting.
You all know how much I love SEI... so I broke out my paper, the 6x6 packs are my favorite, and had fun cutting. The cutting strip in the die set was great because I didn't waste a lot of paper. There are two sizes of hexagons too... so I have enough to make another card with the smaller versions.
I also used their framed greetings set for the sentiment. I'm LOVING, truly LOVING my VersaMagic inks! The vibrancy of the colors is so great... so is the coverage. I need to get some more colors though. Let's face it... we stampers can never have enough colors!
Oh, I did use some fun grape colored crystals to accent the card. Yep... I like the little colored singles.
Well, it's a BEAUTIFUL, sunny day here in the Pacific Northwest! I am going to go outside and be productive. I hope you are all doing great. I love hearing from you and SO appreciate all the positive thoughts toward my getting better. Life is good!
Thanks for poppying by, Friends!
