It's group post day for Papertrey Ink!!! Ready for some sweet fun!?!?
I've been a busy bee these past few days as I've been working on my Papertrey Ink assignments. It's pretty fun to play with these new images from Strawberry Patch and Strawberry Patch Sentiments! It seriously reminds me of picking strawberries with my Grandma at the crack of dawn... before it got too hot. (They were in Stockton, California) I swear... she had 5 huge rows. I can't even think how they possibly ate them all... just the two of them. :) Good thing I was there to help out that summer and the next!
So, I moseyed out to the drug store to try to find something strawberry-ish to put is this fun basket that I created using the new Berry Basket die.
I found the yummiest smelling Berry Bath salts! (75% off too!!!) I could have made my own, but I didn't have any berry fragrance... so this was perfect! I'm so excited to give these away!
The tag is created from the newest scalloped oval die that is being released this month is the Limitless Layers 3.5" Oval die collection. I stamped A Little Argyle's large solid strip in the background... then used the berry sentiment from the Strawberry Patch sentiments set and the Bath Salts sentiment from the Just For You stamp set. I die cut the strawberries. I love that they pop off the tag a little.
I wanted to keep the basked really simple. I weaved some Pure Poppy twill through the basket and finished it off with a strawberry centered bow.
Now... I think this summer I will make some strawberry shortcake kits for friends with this same concept. Just change the sentiments I used!
Next is a little card to go with the basket. I added in some Blueberry Sky and Spring Rain into the mix.
I used the plaid square image in the set to back frame the strawberries.
They really are sweet berry images. I also added glitter to the sweet sentiment but it's not very shiny in my photos. LOL!
