Time to share some projects again! Ahhh... it feels good to share. The posting/creating break has been really nice but it's nice to pop in and share too! It's group post day at Papertrey Ink and we have some great projects to share with you. It's all about the new 2012 Birthday Tags stamp set!
I LOVE this new set and the elegance that Nichole brought to it. It's going to be a staple item for my birthday and other celebration creations. (That's my gut feeling right now.)
This first card has a bright and cheery feeling!
I used the Wish Big Gingham tag from the 2012 Birthday Tags stamp set. Stamped the Tag in Harvest Gold then in Pure Poppy... trimming out the sentiment portion. Such a pretty tag image!
I love how so many images in this set coordinate with the Limitless Layers 2.25" Oval dies.
The backgrounds are stamped with Stitches & Swirls and the new Background Basics: Wrought Iron. I just love the sunny feeling I get using yellow and red together!
Next is a little tag using that same Wish Big Gingham tag. Lovin' the new Blueberry Sky ink too. SO PRETTY!
I have this love of blue gingham. It might be a Wizard of Oz thing. Oh... it might be that Chris bought me a really cute blue gingham shirt when we were engaged (20 years ago) and it still fits and is timeless in style.
I'm SO excited to have the new New Leaf ink! It's perfect with the brighter colors that summer brings too. The flowers are from Zva Creative.
Last... a little invitation combining the new 2012 Birthday Tags and By Invitation stamp sets.
I've also used the new Card Base-ics #2 die. I can see a lot of possibilities with this die.
The celebrate portion of the star on the vintage cream is trimmed out and adhered to the bottom to add some balance.
