I tend to be inspired by beautiful things... whether it is relevant to what I'm doing or not. Beauty is like a palette cleaner for my creative brain... it clears away the cobwebs and allows a little sunshine in so that I can start feeling fresh! That's one of my favorite reasons that I participate on Pinterest. It's also a place to easily store dreams and hopes for future projects... meals and home decor! Papertrey Ink is now ON Pinterest! You can see a sorts of projects that are already filling their boards!
All of the Papertrey Ink Design Team members have created a new project using a Pinterest Photo as inspiration. Here is mine!
While looking through... I noticed that I was being drawn to certian colors. Then I happened upon this group of those colors together!
Now, to me this photo says- Feminine and bold wit delicate touches. I See flowers too.
Here's what I came up with from this inspiration piece!
Gracious Vases seemed to have that bold, trendy and feminine feel I was looking for. Not sure why, but I had a hard time getting a fantastic photo of this card. The white seems more like gray here... but I promise, it's pure bright white!
I used the old version of Smokey Shadow with True Black.
I thought I would also share WHO my favorite "pinner" is! Tina Fussell has such beautiful taste... it's so clean and fresh. I feel calmed by just browsing her pin boards. Here as her BOARDS... and here is her BLOG.
