It's time for the Papertrey Ink Sr. Design Team Challenge for February.... And let me tell you....This one was actually pretty hard! Why? Well, I really like the stamp group that I had to choose from...how was I going to just choose one frame to work with? This past year I've loved having the Fillable Frames stamp series... every set is special in its own unique way. It would be near impossible for me to actually have a favorite because I find them all so useful and beautiful. I have chosen a frame image that I seem to gravitate toward the most for my two projects today though. ;) Fillable Frames #8!

I've always loved the gentle curves of this particular frame as well as its versatility. It can be elegant and trendy! Love that! One of our tasks was to show the frame in two different ways. This first card shows the frame as an under layer element...

This allows whatever is in the focal area to be on top and taking more of the center stage. The frame is stamped with Vintage Cream... which I like to use when using warmer tones.

This card also shows how fun it is to layer the frame over the Tiny Treats: Birthday Mat stack # 5 frame die and image! The little circle center is from Tag-its #1.

This next card shows the frame used as an over layer element. I sometimes forget to use a frame image in this way. It adds something a little different to a card for sure.

To me, this use brings my eye into the card more. I don't know if that makes any sense or not.

My eye is drawn to that Honey Bee right away... then up to the start of the sentiment. I also angled the Chevron Stripes to appear to be pointing to the center.

Well, I hope that you've got a better feeling about this amazing Fillable Frames #8 stamp set!
