It's another group post day for Papertrey Ink! Simply Jane is the set we are all sharing today... it's so sweet and romantic! I love Jane Austen's writings and any movie that's been based on them... I just swoon. I love how this stamp set also reflects the lovely friendships that she so elegantly portrays. That's what I tried to portray in my projects today too.
I just love how this first one turned out! I'm not a huge vintage gal... but this set makes it easy for clean and simple vintage!
The little rose image is stamped in VersaMark on Fine Linen cardstock to create the background for the framed focal images.
I thought the contrast of the bright white embossing powder would look great with the Fine Linen, Dark Chocolate and Vintage Cream combo.... I really do love how it turned out!
The new Kraft buttons are KILLER! I've dreamed and dreamed for this color to become available through Papertrey Ink... and here it is!
Isn't this the sweetest sentiment? Beautiful font too.
This next card shows the same frame but on it's die cut.
I also used just the die of the cameo image... keeping the feeling of the card really clean and simple.
I like the unique colors and combinaations that seem to appear in the Jane Austen era.
I also used Happily Ever After for the sentiment on this card.
