Well, HOLY COW! It's 2012! I think 2011 sprouted wing early on and decided to fly WAY to fast!
Anyhow... today is Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge day too. We are all revisiting the All Booked Up stamp set and dies! Such fun product to make things for others!!!
I thought it would be fun to incorporate the new Block Alphabet Die into today's projects.
I love the quote in this set about books and friends. I decided to go with White, Enchanted Evening and Pure Poppy as the main colors
I wanted a clean and crisp feeling to these projects.... so white played the main role.
I trimmed out the open book image after coloring it with markers. Next I stamped each die cut letter with a different pattern from Bitty Background Blocks. The bottom strip is stamped with BB: Twinkle.
Here are the bookmarks I created for two of my daughters. These really are super easy because of the bookmark die!
I like the sweet girl reading that is in the circle image from All Booked Up.
I had to laugh... when Pepper saw that I used her "real" name she was a bit irritated. I have been asking her if I could add her nickname to her official name, legally, so that she can be Pepper on all the school documents and stuff. She's adamantly opposed to that. I thought that she wanted to use Sydney more... but alas... I was wrong! LOL! Well... I guess at 13 one can still be wish-washy and it's all good! :) Ella was excited to get hers. We've been working on some special reading recovery books... so it will come in handy!
Well that concludes my post. I hope you have gotten a better feel for All Booked Up. The other Senior DT ladies have some projects to share too...
---> HERE is a link to my original post for All Booked Up . Happy 2012! Thanks for poppying by friends!
ETA: Thank you to all who made me aware of my comments field not showing up! *sheesh* I've got a help request into typepad... not sure what's going on with it! Thanks for your patience while we get it figured out! If you have any questions, feel free to email me!
OK... another ETA: I disabled a comment service I've used with typepad for a while... not sure why is chose to act up now. Anyhow, hopefully typepad will get back to me... At least you can comment until I get it sorted out though!!! *yeah for google-ing and others who've shared their solutions online!!!
