Hi friends! I'm sitting here enjoying a beautiful Northwest day. Summer just started showing it's face. It's amazing! The poor kids are all in school... wishing they could be home playing in the sprinkler! I'm trying to get in the Christmas spirit during this late summer wave. It's kind of funny!
Let me introduce them.... and share a project from each set!
Christmas Labels ($15)- A retro and stylish holiday stamp set that's perfect for those fun and upbeat holiday projects. The set features three frame shapes that work separately as well as together! There are three fun and funky larger sentiments as well as six interchangeable smaller and bold sentiments that tie everything together. There is also one tiny decorative image. The sentiments are versatile, as well as the frames that also work well for everyday occasions, birthday and gift giving in general! Because this set has a coordinating frame die, creating card, scrap pages, packaging and even tags is a breeze.
So here is a Little peek of this fun set to start out! I've created a card using Christmas Labels as the focal point and am using Dawn's new Candy Cane Christmas set too!
Christmas Labels has this fun frame that works so great with many styles. I wanted bright and cheery for this card. I pulled out my Sugar Plum paper to use as the background. The cup and canes are from Dawn's Candy Cane Christmas set. Darling huh!
I really love creating for Christmas. I was digging in my embellishment drawer and discovered a few "lost" treasures from a craft store run I did last year. I bought a whole bag of these cute colored bells. They are so easy to add too. I also found my chunky, plastic glitter! Looks like sugar on projects. So fun to use.
I have actually been having a hard time getting my other project done this month because I don't want to put this frame set away. I really is fun to play with!
The next set I want to introduce is Christmas Blessings!
Christmas Blessings ($15)-A lovely and elegant faith based Christmas sentiment set. It features several font combinations that stand well alone as well as complimenting other Christmas images. Many of the sentiments work on the inside of cards as well. Christmas Blessings is all about remembering the reason for the season.
Christmas is a special time in the lives of many. Our family really tries to make Christ the center of the season. We still have fun and do many playful and imaginative things... like celebrate St. Nickolaus day and secret Santa... but we really try to instill the reason why our family celebrates Christmas. When I thought about what sentiment we would want to send on a card to convey this... this sentiment came to mind...
This is an easily reproducible card too... so I would feel comfortable actually creating a big batch of these.
To me, this sentiment conveys a caring and compassion that emulates what the spirit of Christmas is all about. I combined the sentiment with the dove die and leaves image from Peace Be Still... the berries are from Harvest Berries. I'm really glad I used this sentiment in Christmas Blessings.
Well, I hope you've started to get a feeling of what these two sets hold. There is SO much more to share over the next 5 days though!
