Welcome back to the countdown to the release of my newest POPPYprints stamp set, Larger Than Life and the Larger Than Life die ! (They will be available trough Papertrey Ink on Nov. 15th!) It's been a fun past few days! Be sure to check out the past two posts that tell even more details about these two great products! (And to see the projects I created.) I've really appreciated the amazing response and comments that you all have been sharing... It means so much... THANK YOU!
Now, on to the projects!
My first card is one of my favorite from this set (so far)... simple, clean and elegant but still has a fresh feel.
Not only can I see myself recreating this card for other occasions I can think of several color combinations that would be additionally great!
I die cut and stamped two of the multi-leaf images for this card. The sentiment is stamped onto the die cut scalloped circle then tucked behind the leaves for a cozy feel.
One thing that I truly enjoy about dies is that the edges of the paper are so smooth and rounded over. It really creates a more finished feel to a project. The crystals and mini roses are a fun way to add a little depth and action too.
This next card has a more shabby feel to it.
Here is that multi-sprig image in all it's glory. It amazes me to this day that "I" drew this... amazes me! I garden a little...and you get to know foliage pretty well when you are down in the dirt weeding and caring for a garden and flower bed. Anyway, I think of a few flowers when I use this image... Lavender and Grape Hyacinth to name a few. But honestly, you can be very artistic with this set and use pretty much any color you want!
A little about the stamping here- I used water based die ink markers to color directly onto the stamp the stamped the image the three times you see here. After that I stamped the text image over it. A little glitter is added only to the center sprig's flowers though. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I used Vintage cream ink to tone down the New Leaf paper for a softer feel.
One last project... a scrapbook page.
Ella is in her 4th year of Ballet and she is a natural. Not only is she beautiful, but even at a young 7yrs old she shows grace and poise. It's like all of a sudden a hurricane is calmed and starts being a flowing, twirling gentle breeze. I hope she continues... but you never know what life brings. All we can do is provide the opportunity and show support. She has to be in love with it. She loves performing at this point so time will tell. Here are some other photos...I plan on scrapping them next!

Ok... back to the page. I stamped the Larger Than Life die cut leaf images then stamped them in VersaMark. I then used chalks to add some soft color.
The new Mat Stack 1 collection stamp set to create a journaling area. The title was created by stamping the decorative images from that same set, in Vintage Cream ink, to create a corner. I then used Trajan Alphabet to stamp the title.
The side panel was really fun to create. I used the Larger Then Life Die to cut printer weight paper and used the die cuts to mask out the cardstock. Next I stamped the text image, in gray ink, over the entire area. After I pulled off the masks I stamped the lovely Larger Than Life images in in their masked spots. Finally, I used chalk to color in the images.
I love how soft and elegant this page turned out to be. I really reflects how I feel about her talent.
Well, that's all I have to share for today's post. I hope I've given you a little inspiration and insight as to how you could use Larger Than Life and it's coordinating die to make something personally pleasing to you!
Nichole is sharing her projects today using Larger Than Life and the Larger Than Life die ... make sure to head over there if you haven't already seen her AMAZING projects! Maile, Alli, Dawn and Heather also have wonderful things to share on their blogs!
