It's been such a great, busy week... full of inspiration and amazing projects throughout Papertrey Ink land. Today is my last post for the Just For You sneak peeks. I have heard loud & clear how much you love this set and am excited to see what you'll make with it! Thanks for sharing in all the fun this week! (Remember.... all of the new products will be available May 15 at midnight EST/May 14th 9pm PST)
There will be a release party in the Papertrey Ink forums starting at 7pm PST. Head over there to have fun chatting. I won't be there because my two younger daughters will be performing in their School talent show and I couldn't possibly miss that. :) I might make the tail end... might.
On to the goodies!
I have one last project to share with you using some Bramble Berry products.(and a winner to announce!)
I've heard several time... "How do you do it all... how do you find the time?" Well.... to be honest, I don't. I selectively ball drop, steal time from things like hairstyling and make-up! LOL! During release week I become close friends with Costco's frozen food section and my laundry breeds a new army of sock soldiers. What DOES make it easier is when I can make things like these melt and pour candles. HOLY COW... these are SO quick!
Here is all that I used. The Soy wax melts in the microwave super quick. I then added the scent and some colorant. I placed the wick in the bottom with a mini glue dot then poured a thin first layer. A few moments in the freezer hardened things up super fast then I poured in the rest!
Doesn't it look like yummy cinnamon-y apple pie juice. I NEED PIE NOW!
Here are the candles all prettied up and ready to give! (Might have to pry these out of my hands though!) Perfect travel candles as well as teacher gifts!
The sentiment in the set actually says Candles... I just didn't ink up the S in it so I could make the candle itself what was decorated and not a bag or something like that to put them in.
I stamped the circle sentiment first then masked over it to stamp background. I use A Little Argyle to create the pattern on self adhesive paper. I cannot tell you how priceless this paper is when decorating tins!background. I actually made sure that I didn't get solid coverage because I really wanted a more rustic feel.
Winner? Here ya go!

Next, I wanted to share a little Chocolate treat! I had grand plans on making some yummy Caramels, Chocolates, Fudge.... all the yummy stuff. Then Ella got sick and I got worn out from being up all night and got sick too. Chris woke me up on Mother's with a container of one of my favorite candies...um, from Costco. (I know... I might shop there to much!) These are their Chocolate Macadamia Nut salted Caramel things.I just call then bites of heaven though. Needless to say, pressure was off and I came up with these little bags!
Dawn's newest set, Aloha really is the perfect set to go with these. They remind me of the ones you get in Hawaii. I thought of friends headed off for vacation and how fun it would be to drop by these little goodies for their trip!
Aren't they fun! I simply inked the flower image with Summer Sunrise and New Leaf then stamped it onto a Mat Stack 2 Die cut out piece of Rustic Cream cardstock. The little Pure Poppy color pop really adds flare as does the yellow stickles glitter. I also stamped the flower image onto Dotty Biscotti patterned paper.
My last project is a little different. Giving purchased handmade products can give a special twist to your gift giving! I've read several comments this week how people like to buy handmade off Etsy and gift those items. I personally haven't tried to make these cute flowers... but love them. This projects show how to give handmade/ hand crafted embellishments!
I adhered them to a plastic sheet then placed them inside the tin on a cardstock tray. (It's centered when upright... slipped a tad when on it's side.)
Trimming an Eyelet Lace Die cut from Lemon Tart Ink in half really looks sweet on the side doesn't it!
Notice that little blue button? Loooooove it! Since it was my favorite goodie I decided to mimic it. Alli's new set Take 3: Summer has a flower image that I thought was perfect for this! Notice how I angled the label, using Mat Stack 2 die cut Pink shimmer paper? I love that little funky touch.
