I hope you had a great Easter! Welcome back... to anther countdown day for Background Basics: Spots & Dots! (releasing April 15th at Papertrey Ink) I have only one card to share today due to the Holiday and celebrations taking up some time... OK... eating all that chocolate wore me out too! ;)
One thing that I feel compelled to do while designing a stamp is to fill in any gaps on the sheet with an image... I had some extra room on this set and added the solid 4 dot image that fit into the large multi-strip. I thought I would make you a card showing that interactive image today!
Here is the large multi-strip image that has been stamp repeatedly...
Next I filled in the open part of the image with the solid image. Now... you can alternate colors too for a fun variety!
Here is the card I created using this stamped sheet...
I love the simple elegance of this card! Isn't it amazing how elegant a simple card can be? SUCH a VERSATILE set! I can go cute... retro... vintage... trendy! LOVE IT! I'm so happy with how fantastically Life works with it too!
A little close up.
So... what has your favorite card/project been that you've seen using Background Basics: Spots & Dots? I'd love to hear all about it!
Nichole's, Lauren's, Pine's and Dawn's Blog have even MORE sneak peeks! Kelly has some goodies to share too!
One more day left until the official release on April 15th! See you tomorrow for one last project! Thanks for Poppy-ing by!
