I'm so excited to introduce you to the last two Artwork images that are found in Life... The Flower and The Mini Flower. Yes... no variety or species in particular is intended. I love having the openness to choose what flower species I want to reflect in my projects...
Here is a summery card... my intent was to have the appearance of a Gerbera! Look close... there are lots of slight details on this card...
Machine sewing breaks up the pattern paper a bit... adding in the visual triangle with the focal image and the button. :) fun huh!
Now... look close at the flower image... I actually stamped all of the stems first by inking just that part of the stamp. I then cleaned the stamp. Next I inked the flower with a chosen color and rolled the edges of the image in a slightly darker color...then inked it again on the lighter color. I then stamped the flower onto the stem. GASP!... I know... I cross contaminated my dark color into the lighter!!! I just wipe off the top of the pad right away and it's just slightly stained (at most)... but I'm fine with that and it usually goes away. I love the result.... a little softer than the "rock and roll" technique I still get a subtle multi-toned image!
I used... Lemon Tart with Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet with Pure Poppy and Summer sunrise with Melon Berry for these flowers.
Here is another quick card.... showing the Multi-Sprig and the Mini Flower image... along with one of the many sentiment
The Multi-sprig image now takes on the appearance of a blooming flower with the simple addition of the Mini Flower.
I added a little Stickles glitter to the inside to give it some sparkle! I just love the springy feel of this card.
That Mini Flower can act as a flower center as well for the Flower image... Imagine all the possibilities! Here is an example of the two images working together.
Imagine this summer card in fall colors... the flower being a yellow sunflower!
