Thanks for coming back today to learn more about Out of the Box & Out of the Box Sentiments... I can't believe it's almost the 15th! I'm so thankful to Papertrey Ink for producing them! I'm excited to share more today! If you have popped over for details on the Teacher's Apple gift project please see the end of the post. :)
I've show some techniques these past few days using various reverse images in this set and thought I would introduce you the the Swirl Box image today using simple stamping!
The Swirl Box image is unique in the set because it's the only rectangle box in the set. I was really particular with this image when designing it.. I wanted the swirl to fill up a certain portion of the box but wanted it to fit the punch too... It took forever for me to feel like the parameters were how I had envisioned! The image can be used Horizontally or vertically. I also created SWIRL SENTIMENTS in both sets that fit onto the swirls in the image. The other images in the set work well with it too, fitting in width or length! Today I will be showing some of the sentiments from Out of the Box Sentiments!
Here is a card I created with it shown Horizontally!
I also wanted to show the image with a sentiment outside of the box! heehee, pun totally intended! I didn't coordinate the Swirl Box to fit perfectly into this Marvy Clever Lever Mega tag punch... but I did make sure it would work well with it!
I included a boxy star in the set to use for more masculine cards... and the Christmas sentiment is part of the Mini sentiment set... there is also a "4th" sentiment... so you can make "Happy 4th" cards and such!
I love how the swirl box adds SO much depth to this card! Did you notice how different the swirl box looked in each project? I was rotated for each one to show you that it can be used in any direction!
JUST ONE MORE POST BEFORE THIS FUN SET GOES ON SALE!!!! I'm just so excited this month... I loved Out of the Box when I first designed it and fell even deeper as I've created and shared this week. I just can't thank you enough for your positive feed back! Please come back tomorrow when I share the final projects... and the ultimate out of the box image!
P.S. I wanted to share a little about my Teacher Gift Project for today's Papertrey Ink DT group post on Nichole's Blog...
I LOVE Nichole's new set, Teacher's Apple, and thought that it would be a great pairing with Webster's Pages new Hello Beautiful paper line and trims. I made this little gift set for Ella's Teacher for Christmas...(hopefully she isn't reading this, LOL!) I noticed that she had tons of Hand Sanitizer in her classroom... probably 4-6 bottles. This ready to decorate dispenser is one that Traditions Studiocarries. I thought she might enjoy a special, just for her, hand sanitizer dispenser for her desk! You can see a little line right above the paper in the dispenser... that is where the base screws off, separating for you to decorate the inside. The liquid stays in a totally contained area in the top part. sort of like a container that fits into an attachable cup that you can decorate.
