What a fun month it has been, creating my Papertrey Ink October 2008 samples. It was also neat to realize that I now have many of my Christmas cards and packaging done! :)
Silent Night is my personal favorite of this release... I love the saying and scriptures that celebrate the true meaning behind Christmas! The designed elements are amazing too... the flourish is delicate and elegant. I used the pattern paper a lot this release... it's really some of the best Christmas paper out there.
Snowfall/ Snowfall additions- These mints are my favorite! I buy them in bulk when I get in the mood for them... they just melt in my mouth! They were the inspiration for this container too. The mint packages have some navy blue on them... I love blue! I wanted these fun mittens to look like they were holding a big snowball too!
Recipe Box /Recipe Box label- This is such a great set for gift creating. I thought it would be fun to make myself a box first...get a feel of the process first. My kitchen aid and appliances are all black so I knew I wanted it black based to coordinate. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and how it looks on my counter! Yes... those are poppies from my Remember set...I just couldn't resist. :)
Warm Happiness- This is my next favorite set! I love hot cocoa and it's great to be able to have stamps now that are not only lovely but facilitate gift giving for it! I've made a few other things with this set... it's so fun and easy! Lauren's new "Music Makeover" Template was awesome for packaging the 3 packs of caramel cocoa inside!
I thought I would end with my little chocolate mouse box... I know you've seen it before... But it makes me smile... and want to make them again!
I hope you will enjoy what the other DT member have created... make sure to check out the Papertrey Ink Gallery for a peek and my supply lists.
I can't wait to see what everyone makes!
