This was such a fun online column to get into! here is the link to the card of mine that Papercrafts Mag used for this feature! They asked for the use of Borders on projects...in a different way. The shaped arrow seemed like a perfect border and it was one of the quickest cards I've ever made.
I love the many alphabets that MSE has to offer... SO MUCH FUN!
Personal note: So Alex goes to freshman orientation tomorrow...(gasp!) it's really happening...I have a high schooler! ACK! The house is getting unpacked slowly. I guess you could say I am feeling a bit over whelmed. its been almost 7 years since our last move and we added a daughter since then. Its been hard staying on top of the new house while unpacking too...getting into a routine and knowing what to watch for... like having some wood floors now and spills. LOL! Submissions have taken a total back seat and I have taken time to enjoy my kids in our new city. I could just spend hours telling you all about it... but we have time, right! :) I will tell you that we have been super blessed to have ended up in a fantastic neighborhood. We have been greeted with warm and open arms...and those arms have been full of flowers and fruit from their yards... how cool is that. We are so used to being secluded, its almost shocking. I have been working on nugget boxes as thank you treats for them... my first ones ever. I know... weird huh! I will post a pic when I'm done.
