Hi Friends... Welcome back! It's day five of My Favorite Things' 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash series. Today, we're sharing ideas for organizing INK!
So I have that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. And my very old system works for me with the space constraints that I have and my style of stamping. So... these first few photos show my storage for my MFT Pigment and MFT Hybrid Inks.
This drawer set is behind where I sit so that all I have to do is turn around to get into the drawers. Now, I keep my inks upside down to keep my ink pads juicy. So I'm still working on getting the color on the bottoms for a quick read of which in is which.
I'm still building on and organizing my ink refills. I found that these old containers I had were perfect dividers. I need to get a few more for all the new inks... guess I'll have to transfer stuff from out of the few others I have to complete the job. LOL! Like I said.. I just like my older stuff... so why buy different. Now... this is with inks. I'm changing my stamps and dies system... just didn't have it ready to share this week yet. THIS drawer system is similar to what I have.
More oldies but goodies. I love these drawers for my most used ink pads... The MFT Dye Inks. They sit in front but to the side of my desk. I don't like things right in front of me... I like to be able to see through the window or talk with my kids while I create.
Each drawer is assigned a color... some colors have two drawers... like green! These older drawers fit 9 ink pads. The newer drawers fit less... so I keep the colors in there that are in between ... like a blue-green.
I just used a label maker to make quick labels. Super easy. You can find these drawers HERE.
Now... here are the prizes that are being offered. Head on over to the MFT Blog to enter to win the grand prize for this week!
I hope that this week with all the MFT Blog crafty orginization tips has been inspiring.
Thanks for poppying by, friends!
